Why MAIA The Seven Belongs in a Class of Its Own

Inner South Bengaluru has produced no shortage of premium addresses over the past two decades. It is not one quality that differentiates The Seven Basavanagudi but six that compound. The package. Basavanagudi is one of Bengaluru’s oldest planned extensions, which developed alongside Malleshwaram in the early 1900s. The neighbourhood receives its name from the Bull Temple (Basavana Gudi, 'the dwelling of the bull'), constructed around the 16th-century Nandi statue. It still dominates the region. Basavanagudi is land starved basically. There is no precedent in the micro-market for a 3.7-acre, 128-unit twin-tower buildout — developments of comparable scale haven’t broken ground in the recent decade and are unlikely to break ground going forward. It creates a permanent value of scarcity.
